Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are a quick and painless way to smooth the lines and wrinkles that occur naturally on the face due to ageing or exposure to environmental stressors.
Dermal fillers are used generally on the lower portion of the face. Dermal fillers are not used to relax muscles but to plump, hydrate, volumise, shape and contour the skin.
Dermal fillers last from 8- 12 months depending on the amount used and to where it is injected. It is naturally broken down and absorbed by the body over this time.

Excellent experience as always! From the minute you enter the practice you are treated with a smile, attention and care. I had a consultation appointment with the dentist. He took the time to explain to me what my situation was, answered all of my questions and presented to me all options moving forward. This is a practice where everyone goes the extra mile to care for the patients.

Fantastic. I had a consultation to discuss the treatment options based on the information I had already. However, Tammy took the time to also discuss all other options which I never knew were possible. Tammy really opened my eyes and has left me feeling very confident about what treatment(s) I can go ahead with. I wasn't just told about the most expensive treatments and it wasn't like I was being sold something. We discussed my concerns, my ideas, my expectations and what I want. Very happy.

Also, Chris is a great dentist,and as a nervous dental patient I feel very comfortable with him and also with Dental hygienist Laura. Chris did a fantastic job in straightening my teeth. 5 star treatment from all the staff in this surgery. All so helpful, friendly, polite they all go that extra mile to help with your comfort and always help make you feel so welcomed and relaxed for your treatment. I took my 10 year old grandson with me while i was having a consultation with dentist Chris McCrudden and his nurse chloe , then we chatted with staff at front desk Tammy and Tristan, on leaving the premises my grandson asked me when can we go back there again as I like it there. Don’t know anyone who wouldn’t feel relaxed in this surgery

Absolutely FABULOUS service. Not only has the dental treatment been the best service but the WHOLE team at cherrybank are lovely as a whole. Tristan is just wonderful at reception, Tammy the smile co-ordinator is just brilliant at her job. Chris the dentist & Dental nurse Chloe have been amazing throughout the whole process of treatment and are the most friendly and spot on team of dental professionals I have ever met. I can't recommend this practice enough. I'm phobic of dentistry- for good reasons. However, the whole team and environment put me at ease. My dentist Chris had an almost miraculous ability to inspire total confidence in him. I really appreciated being treated without judgement, total respect and a bit of well placed humour! I need a lot of work doing. All my options were explained very clearly, the prices laid out, and I can see a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not easy to win over, being an ex-nurse. But also, as an ex-nurse, I know when I meet highly competent health professionals. I now have total confidence in a dentist for the first time in my life.

Cherrybank has been pretty much excellent from start to finish. Operationally in terms of appointments, reminders etc but most importantly in respect of the treatment itself from treatment plan to completing the work. I hated, hated the dentist - this experience may just have changed my mind. Expensive, yes, but you get what pay for. Staff extremely professional and so far really pleased with the results (follow up check in 3 weeks).

I have very sensitive teeth & my last dentist would not give me any numbing injections ?? so when my teeth were being cleaned it was really painful, so hence why I took myself to Cherrybank Dental Practice, everything is pain free, they even apply numbing cream so you don't even feel the injections going into your gums, so it's a win win for me.

Calm and relaxed atmosphere for patients like me who are nervous. My implant dentist Nik, is exceptionally knowledgeable in this field and he provided me with lots of information, regarding my treatment, the aftercare from the surgery and the end result. I really can't recommend Cherrybank enough, they are really excellent.

I came to Tammy firstly to get a consultation, I had been to a couple other places too, but this was the only meeting I had where I didn’t feel pressured into other treatments. I had expressed that I wanted to keep costs down & wasn’t prepared to commit to Invisalign and Tammy straight away took this on board. She was open about all treatment routes I could go down but the main thing is I wasn’t pushed into anything or felt I was being sold something!Again this was the same when I met Dr Umair, I knew my teeth could benefit from straightening but he heard what I wanted and focused my treatment plan on that. I ended up with whitening, a small bit of gum contouring and composite bonding. Dr Umair comes across really professional and knows exactly what he’s doing so you know your teeth are in good hands. During all my appointments his calm nature kept me calm, I’m not a nervous patient but it had been a while so I was apprehensive! Grainne is also so friendly and super calming, she’d have a nice wee chat with me before & after which calmed my nerves. What a team! I also had the fear to get my impressions for my guard/whitening tray which I told Dr Umair about, somehow he made this feel like nothing and kept me relaxed.My results speak for themselves too, compared to what you can get done to your teeth I didn’t get too much done but it’s an unreal transformation. I wanted my teeth to look more uniform and get rid of the gaps I had, whilst still looking natural and got exactly that. I absolutely love the work that’s been done to my teeth - my confidence in my smile is so much better now!

I would definitely recommend Cherrybank dental. Having had bad experiences at other dentists I am not the easiest person with anxiety and nerves but everything from the start has been amazing. I visited Cherrybank for Invisalign treatment and couldn't have been happier with the experience I had over 18 months or so. The team at Cherrybank have transformed my life. After a process of getting my mouth healthy, I started my Invisalign journey. Today I walked out feeling emotional - I’m going to miss these ladies. The best dentist I’ve ever been to in my life. Going to the dentist is now an experience I look forward to and is a nice little break in my day. I have had loads of things done from checkups and dental surgeries to invaslign and teeth whitening. All of the staff are incredible and the comforts that are on offer are also greatly appreciated

I came to Cherrybank Dental Spa Edinburgh for some treatment,and I have to say it was an amazing experience from start to finish. I am quite anxious at the dentist but the team were so welcoming and friendly. Erin,who was my nurse, put me at ease immediately and really made me feel relaxed. Dr Katy the dentist explained everything to me in language I could understand. I would highly recommend anyone who is anxious to visit as it really was a great experience, didn't even feel like I was at the dentist!
